To me it feels like a lot of people are waking up to this currently. I can relate so much to what you’re experiencing. I am currently doing the 8 week program of “The mindful way workbook” and the book is basically starting off with what you are emphasizing on here. The “doing” mode of our brains is only working in the outside world, but when you’re experiencing messy thoughts or even depression and anxiety, that mode will only make things worse. Kudos to your therapist. Thanks for sharing. Gave you all my claps. Keep up the great work and give yourself some credit for doing the only work we all really need to do. Everything else is just useless busyness and Dopamin chasing.
