There are a million people out there with perfect theoretical knowledge who don’t achieve anything because they never start. Real Knowledge only comes from doing things wrong. over and over again. We don’t ever know the perfect truth, we can only be less wrong each time we succeed. We have all read these things somewhere, but applying this in everyday life is never easy. I pulled myself out of severe anxiety by doing exactly that. I was so caught up in automatic negative thinking that at some point i realized that “just doing something” was still better than not doing anything. One year ago i wasn’t even able to leave my (parents) house anymore, today i am traveling east africa on my own, wild camping between elephants and hyenas and just taking life one step at a time. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that you don’t have to know and life will still carry you. Even better, life will give you the most beautiful presents when you let yourself fall into the abyss of uncertainty. Don’t know if that’s what you wanted to say, but i somehow saw many parallels in your story. Thanks for sharing Deb. Keep up the good work!

A free and democratic society can only exist, when its individuals are free in their hearts and minds.
