Thanks for sharing Taylor. We need more people like you on this planet. I know OCD like behaviour from the severe anxiety that I went through, cause in the end anxiety always has features of OCD (the obsessive rumination) and vice versa. The work of Jeffrey Schwartz has helped me tremendously. His 4 step technique helped me to understand that I have to stop myself in the worrying process and try to not follow the compulsion, but instead focus on something constructive and positive. Like playing the guitar, learning something new or talking to someone. Over time it is creating new neural structures that are teaching the brain to not follow the well worn path of the compulsion anymore. It takes time and I can't say I am done with it, but I can see great progress already. Keep up the good work and stay faithful!
