Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. That’s the way i see it. I’ve been through severe anxiety. Days were dark and when anxiety hit me it felt i wasn’t part of this world anymore. Emotions are energy in motion. Accepting your thoughts and feelings is one part, but the art is to let that energy flow through you instead of blocking it or trying to run away from it. You can’t outrun anxiety. We learn how to do that with love and happiness but we never learn how to do that with the more uncomfortable emotions. To me that was the key to get back to the light.
